The diversion was prodded at E3 2014 and around 15 minutes of gameplay was flaunted at the 2015 E3. The diversion was declared as coming in the spring of 2016. At QuakeCon 2015, it was reported that the diversion will run 1080p and 60fps on both consoles. The advancement group said they thought of it as "the most fundamental graphical objective", and that it can successfully enhance gameplay smoothness.
